The time required to repair a diesel generator depends on things such as the output power, its brand, the reason for its purchase (main, emergency, permanent duty), installation location, service and maintenance conditions of the diesel generator, etc. It is regularly included in the technical specifications of the diesel generator and is overhauled every 6000 hours and every 12000 hours.

If the engine is equipped with a turbocharger, be sure to use oil of several grades. The best oil for the whole of Iran is SAE 15W40, because the temperature of the diesel room is below 10 below zero, and certain things must be observed on it, and under no circumstances should oil 50 be used.
